Why must the rum be gone?!

My favourite 3d acrylic piece so far! 

I loved making this one. 

I wanted it to be a bit different. I wanted it to be kind of silhouette like but also have colour and a bit of detail. Which hopefully I pulled off! 

I used mostly acrylic paint for the colours and with the fine detailing I used my nail pens.

Competition

I've never entered a nail art competition before but decided to enter a Disney themed one. I didn't really know what theme to do so I did four.

First was the pocket watch from Alice in wonderland. Then I did a Minnie mouse themed nail with a 3d bow I made myself, using acrylic. Then there's my fave,.... Tinker bell, with huge wings I again made using acrylic. And lastly there's ariel.

I didn't expect to hear anything else of it and soon forgot.
Til I was out shopping and got lots of messages from a friend saying I'd won!



When I got home I looked and was shocked to see I had won!! I was so shocked and I couldn't stop smiling.

It was the first time I had really done 3d nail art. But I loved doing it and am always trying new designs.
I'm hoping to maybe enter more competitions in the future but until then I'm going to just enjoy my creations.

So I'm very new to blogging. So do bare with me!

Just wanted to share some nails I made last night using lace that's been encapsulated in acrylic!!
Never tried it before but I think they look great!
